The Snark.art platform sold out the NFT collection Organic Growth: Crystal Reef from artists Michael Joo and Danila Krivoruchko in three days, earning more than $ 4 million.

According to the creators of the collection, the final appearance of each of the crystals depends on the history of the owners' cryptocurrency accounts and can be purchased only after seven transactions or two months after the first purchase.

The starting price of Organic Growth: Crystal Reef on the official website of the project was from 0.10301 ETH (about $ 350) per unit. Resale will be available on the OpenSea platform.

Two months after the start of sales, all crystals will be merged into a single piece of art in the form of a crystal reef.

3% of the profits from the sales of Organic Growth: Crystal Reef will be donated by the collection's creators to research in marine ecology and conservation biology, which is overseen by the laboratory of Jennifer Smith, professor at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography at the University of California, Columbia.

80% of the donation will fund the laboratory's ongoing research and monitoring of changes in coral reefs caused by waves and global warming.

Scientists plan to spend 20% of the received amount on the publication of studies on new species of oceanic invertebrates.
